Welcome! I’m Samantha.
I’m a twenty-something from the Pacific Northwest who has always craved adventure, big outdoor trips, and foreign travel.
A few years ago, I realized…if I kept waiting for the right time or the right person to go with me, I might never go at all.
So I stopped waiting.
That decision sparked a season of solo travel, new hobbies, outdoor skills, and climbing mountains I’d only ever dreamed about.
I started saying yes to things I wasn’t fully sure I was ready for—international flights, solo backpacking, backcountry skiing, dance classes, and so much more.
Here’s what I learned:
You don’t become confident first.
You do the damn thing.
Confidence follows.
Even though I’m lucky to now have incredible adventure and travel partners, I still believe there is something powerful about doing things on your own.
Independence teaches you who you are. It sharpens your judgment. It builds a kind of quiet self-trust that nothing else can.

With this blog, I’m helping women follow their curiosity and build real skills without burning out or overthinking every move.
My goal is to inspire curious women to build lives that feel expansive, skillful, and fully their own.
Through outdoor skills, solo travel stories, and practical frameworks for making friends, taking risks, and trying new things, this blog is about becoming the kind of woman who doesn’t wait.
It’s not about doing everything. It’s about doing the things that matter.
And more specifically, doing those things intentionally, and with courage.
If you’ve ever felt like…
- You want to travel solo but don’t want to feel reckless
- You’re curious about the outdoors but unsure where to start
- You like the idea of being “that girl” who just goes…but you want a plan to stick to!
- You’d rather build real skills than just look adventurous online
- You’re tired of waiting for someone else to come with you
I’m right there with you. You’re in the right place.
Here you’ll find resources on…
- Mental habits that boost your confidence
- Practical skill breakdowns
- Solo trip planning insight
- Trip reports with honest takeaways
- Lessons learned by showing up, even before feeling ready
I’m sharing what I’ve learned, so you can plan your adventure, build your skills, gain confidence in yourself, and go.
Not someday.
Now.
